General review

Went chasing on all the 7 days of the tour owner Erik Burns and his assistant Nick busby used their knowledge to make sure we had the best opportunity to see any extreme weather that could develop were able to witness tornadoes and watch supercell storms forming which I found to be totally amazing. The tour turned out to be all that I hoped for plus more it was fantastic.

Tour guide review

I found Erik burns and his assistant Nick busby to be extremely professional with a friendly and helpful attitude and respond to any questions that were asked I found that they had a real passion and enjoyment for their subject which encouraged their guests to be a part of as well which was really good.even though we encountered some extreme weather our safety was always put first at all times

Vehicle review

The van was comfortable considering the travelling that was needed to reach your destination it was well equipped so all the occupants could monitor what they were seeing on the radar as well which was great enough leg room and space for everyone

I had always been inquisitive about storms even though I grew up in Tornado Alley. I followed Tornadic Expeditions on Facebook for about 2 years. I decided on taking Tour #2 called May Madness. My research showed that they only have 4 tourists per van and either one or 2 guides depending on how many vans they are running per tour. I respect and appreciate Tornadic Expeditions policy on safety . I never felt in harm’s way.
Eric Burns, the owner and tour operator, is extremely knowledgeable respectful of his tourists, and was very helpful, since I had so many questions before I even signed up. He also has an easy-going personality, while always protective of his tourists. His copilot on Tour 2, May Madness was Nick Busby another extremely knowledgeable and respectful tour guide. His photography was extremely fascinating too.
We saw 3 tornadoes on the very first day. The next 6 days were filled with super storms and unbelievable cloud formations. I felt very lucky to see those storms from afar. The tornados and super storms did not cause destruction like some, as they hit out in the fields and farmland and caused no deaths or harm.
This tour may not be for everyone but for those who are fascinated by storms and want to be safe while storm chasing this would be for you!
